Your first embroidery project, one stitch at a time
September 6, 2026
Your first embroidery project doesn’t need a perfect plan. A comfortable chair, a color you like, and a free hour are plenty.
Start with what feels good
Lay everything out where you can see it: thread, cloth, scissors, and the pattern. Pick up the needle and see where it goes.
There is no need for perfection and nowhere to rush.
One stitch at a time
Small, even stitches are lovely. So are the slightly wonky ones. Let the rhythm of stitching guide you, pause when your hands need a break, and enjoy watching the design slowly appear.
