Slow Down
Be Present

At Sheshoo, we believe that time matters as much as the finished piece. Embroidery gives you a quiet moment to call your own: to choose colors, follow the gentle rhythm of the needle, and enjoy watching something grow, one stitch at a time.

As your hands settle into that rhythm, let yourself slow down and return to the present moment. There is no need for perfection and nowhere to rush. Simply enjoy the process, the pleasure of your own company, and the small things you notice along the way.

Where It Began

My mom introduced me to embroidery when I was little, and my earliest memories of making things are of learning beside her. Her embroidered version of Van Gogh’s Sunflowers still hangs at home, reminding me of the patience and care she put into every stitch.

She taught me that making something by hand could be a way of caring for someone else, for your home, and for yourself. That feeling stayed with me as I grew up, and became the starting point for Sheshoo.

I started Sheshoo to share what my mom gave me: the pleasure of seeing something take shape beneath your hands, the quiet pride of saying, “I made this,” and the warmth of giving someone a handmade gift.

You do not need experience or to think of yourself as a creative person to begin. A little curiosity is enough. My hope is that Sheshoo makes that first step feel welcoming, so more people can discover the enjoyment of making something and taking a little time for themselves.
